At Invicta Divers SCUBA School, we'll take an active interest in your diving progress, and what you want to achieve from your diving. Whether you have a specific holiday in mind, or you want to dive regularly, abroad or in the UK, purely recreationally or with an eye to turning professional, we hope we can help to inspire you and help you to achieve your SCUBA Diving dreams.

Your first experience of SCUBA Diving may well be a Try-Dive . You need no previous experience - you just need to be a swimmer aged 10 or over.
A high proportion of people who do a Try Dive enjoy the experience so much that they go on to gain their first qualification with a PADI Open Water Course . You will learn to dive indoors at the Black Lion Leisure Centre in Gillingham, Kent. You will make four outdoor qualifiying open water dives at our local training lake at Leybourne Lakes near Maidstone, Kent. SCUBA Diving worldwide will then no longer be a dream - it will be a reality for you !! You will be qualified to dive, with a buddy or in a group, to a depth of 18 metres (12 metres while aged under 15). This is a lifelong international qualification that is accepted and respected in dive centres throughout the world, enabling you to take your diving skills on holiday.

If you are preparing for a specific holiday, you may prefer to do a " PADI Holiday Referral Course ". You do the study and poolwork here in the UK, and earn a certificate of achievement to take with you on holiday to enrol and complete your Open Water Qualifying Dives somewhere exotic and blue !! This way, you can learn here at your own pace, and qualify at your destination as part of your outdoor holiday experience - losing none of your precious holiday time cooped up in your hotel room or classroom under pressure to learn the theory !!

We think you'll be bitten by the diving bug and you'll want to develop your skills in specialised areas. Our PADI Adventure Diver programme will introduce you to different aspects and challenges of diving. As a certified Adventure Diver, you'll want to add a deep-dive and a navigation-dive to qualify as a PADI Advanced Diver .

The PADI Rescue Diver Rating will direct your focus towards your diving buddies and give you the training to handle, anticipate and, above all, prevent diving emergencies.
The accompanying Emergency First Response course will prepare you to evaluate and handle medical emergencies in everyday life as well as in the diving world, and will train you to deliver CPR, Automated External Defibrillation and First Aid.

Your next challenges will be achieving PADI Specialty Diver Ratings to build up to your PADI Master SCUBA Diver Rating - a marque which applauds your high achievement in recreational SCUBA diving.
