The DIVERY - Invicta Divers' SCUBA Diving Club

At Invicta Divers, we believe diving is about people.
Its a very individual sport, and yet its a very social sport.
So we recognise its about you, and your buddies.

When you've qualified as a SCUBA diver, you can sometimes miss the support and encouragement that the structure of a course gave you for going diving.
Where can I find a diving buddy ?  Where can I borrrow some kit ?
Who is organising some dives ?   How do I get to know ?

The DIVERY is your opportunity to meet, dive and socialise with like-minded divers.   Divers just like you: young divers; old divers; divers who are more experienced, and divers who are less experienced, too.   So you wont feel left out, and you'll be welcomed no matter how much or how little diving you've already got under your belt.   We all just want a good excuse to go diving together and have fun.

DIVERY Club membership is £30 for a year, £15 for under 18s,  free for under 10s.
Why is there a membership fee ?   The DIVERY is a not-for-profit club, run for the benefits of its Members, and funded by membership subscription.   The club exists to facilitate and encourage you to dive, and to dive safely, not to flog you courses and kit, like some other "clubs".

We keep in touch through regular diving events and social gatherings, and with our electronic newsletter and club calendar.

We dive throughout the year, but lets have a look at a typical club year:

Spring
The London Dive Show traditionally marks the start of the main UK diving season, and its a good opportunity to stock up on goodies for the new season.
The days are growing lighter and warmer for UK dives, and we organise a
Dive Holiday at the February half-term and around Easter time.

Summer
We focus on making the most of our rich UK waters. So we're doing lots of training, lots of inland dives, lots of shore dives, and lots of boat dives.
We organise a
Dive Holiday somewhere disgustingly hot and blue, and plenty of local dives, awayday dives, weekend trips and short breaks. Come and join in !!

Autumn
The Birmingham Dive Show traditionally marks the end of the main UK diving season, and this is an opportunity for snapping up end-of-season bargains, and drysuit components for the coming winter season.
We organise a
Dive Holiday during the October half-term week.

Winter
Can you dive in the UK during winter ?   Sure you can !   The hardies amongst us will be enjoying the better clarity of winter UK waters in their drysuits.   But for those of you clinging to the radiators at home, we also organise
Dive Holidays to warmer climes abroad, to forget the rain the frosts and the snow and enjoy some super diving all year round.   Winter is also a time for organising indoor dives and non-diving events in the UK

So you see,
there's never a time when we can't go diving and have fun together.
