Ever been out walking at night, looked up at the stars and thought how beautiful it is ? Those stars were there all the time; you just couldn't see them.

Well, night diving is similar. Many organisms which are tucked away during the day come out in their full splendour at night. And details which were not apparent during daylight become apparent in the dark.

Then there's the phosporescence, like a magical cartoon trail of stars when you sweep your hands through the water.

You'll make three night dives with your Instructor. You'll learn about signalling at night, the use of lamps and night sticks and beacons.

You'll need to have mastered buoyancy control, and navigation with a compass.

Pre-requisite qualifications
You'll need to be an Open Water Diver , or Junior Open Water Diver, or above.
The minimum age is 12.
