Q. What should I eat before SCUBA diving ?
A. Just a normal light meal. Try to avoid a heavy meal, or anything which will give you a rumbling stomach or acid gullet. Like any exercise, you should allow an hour or so between eating and exercising. Having said that, dont avoid having a meal and dive on an empty stomach, either.
Bananas are one of nature's wonder foods which may give you an energy boost and may help to ward off cramp, too.
Have plenty of water, juice or something non-alcoholic to drink. Dont SCUBA Dive after taking alcohol, and dont dive when you are dehydrated.
You may bring a drink in a plastic bottle (glass and cans not allowed) and a sweet treat if you like.
