Q: I wear contact lenses. Is that a problem ?

A: No, it is not normally a problem.

However, you should be aware that, whenever you get your lenses wet, there are microbes in any water that might choose to set up home in the porous parts of your lenses. If you wear daily disposables, thats not a problem. If you have longer-wear lenses, it would be better to take them out.

Bear in mind that lenses could float off in water and you might lose them.

Whenever you get lenses wet, ensure that you clean them thoroughly, according to the manufacturers specification.
