ACTIVITY OPTIONS

Edexcel Approval
We are delighted that the Edexcel Examination Board have approved our specifications and marking schemes for offering SCUBA Diving as an activity option for GCSE and for GCE AS/A2 PE at Chatham Grammar School for Boys for students taking their exams in 2008 and onwards.

This is a national first for CGSB ! No other school has gained approval from Edexcel for SCUBA Diving, so CGSB is the first (and, this year, the only) school in the country offering SCUBA Diving with Edexcel GCSE and GCE Physical Education !

This enables:

- Students taking Edexcel 1827/3827 GCSE Physical Education to choose SCUBA Diving as one of their sports activity options.

- Students taking the new syllabus Edexcel 8PE01 GCE Advanced Subsidiary Level (AS) Physical Education which starts in September 2008 to choose SCUBA Diving as an activity option.

- Students taking Edexcel 9536 GCE Advanced Level (A2) Physical Education to choose SCUBA Diving as an activity option.
